We passed through Lima, Peru ๐ต๐ช which is the capital and it is a nightmare to go through it as there is no bypass of this very busy city so the heavy traffic transversing the country passes downtown Lima. It can take up to 4-6 hours if you hit at the wrong time of the day. It took us 2.5 hours.
The rest of the ride was “tranquilo” as we enjoyed entering the south of Lima section where there are many beach towns with high concentration of holiday resorts.
Riding in the south of Peru is in my opinion much nicer than the north and it seems to be a different country where it is much less poor.
The city of Pisco, Peru ๐ต๐ชis one of the more colorful and picturesque we have seen.
